Default I ordered a '10 Cup Wing :-)

I thought that since the 4.1L kit might make me need more downforce, I ordered a 2010 Cup wing plus Cup splitter from Getty. Mark of Getty said that since it's higher than the '10 RS, you actually can see better who you're leaving behind :-)

See pic 5 of the white/silver Cup car.

Thanks to Mike for posting this thread. It made it so easy to decide.

Cheers!

Congrats on the 4.1L build and on the '10 Cup wing.
Are you getting the anhedral wing style? (65" or 67" ?)
Suppose you're using an OEM-style decklid with matching twin airboxes as in the 3.8 RS's?
Also what are you doing for complimenting front aero?
I'm thinking about the GMG '08 Grand Am front splitter with cunards.

Looking forward to your project.

I'm getting the anhedral type one w/ RSR endplates. Bigger single scoop that uses stock air box.

Pls save the congratulations till its running :-)

TCS - Love your wing!

[QUOTE=gstahl;9182978]Here is my cup wing on a 997.2 GT3

Nice looking wing Geoff.

OT
In the corner pic below, is that the right rear tire side wall rolling away from the outer rim of the wheel - amazing, never seen that before!!

4 liter engine and a cup wing, who would do such a horrible thing.

I mean... Now that's what I'm talking about!!

Here's a 997.1 / 997.2 side-by-side with age-appropriate cup wings:

I was contemplating the period correct cup wing but the new risers and anhedral type wing are just something to die for.

Plus you get better rear visibility since its higher.

Those are some big wings indeed. Got a pair with those that make my rs wing look puny! Generally they all come from Getty/mashaw. They do need some work/fitment-wise. Just make sure the ducting and sealing is good so you're not sucking in hot air
