StopTech on 2010 GT3 -- Can I Use Pagid Yellow?
I removed the Ceramic Rotors from my 2010 GT3 and replaced them with StopTech rotors. I am running the street/track pads they suggested since they are pre-shaped or filed to fit. I know that I should not expect the performance I had with my Ceramics, but the difference is striking and I am not satisfied with the new braking performance. It was suggested to me that the StopTech Rotors are superb, but the street/track pads are not, and that I should try the Pagid Yellows, and I would see a big difference. Does anyone know if the Pagids will fit with the StopTech rotors and hats? BTW, the only street use this GT3 sees is driving to the track. Thanks in advance.

The Stoptech kits generally use the Pagid U1204:

Not trying to get into a pissing match here but that's what you sell and
"generally" is a assumption.
We were involved in the development with the Stoptech kits for Porsche over the last 3-4 years.. And we sell the kits as well.
Stoptech supplies there own pads with the kits- and as an option we have been recommending the Endless product because its one we have hands on experience with in racing. Running in ALMS - World Challenge and Club racing.
Just an FYI you may or not be aware but GMG actually fields the Stoptech car in World Challenge GT competition.
In regards to teams running Endless in the 24 here is a quick list off the top of my head of who is running the Endless pads:
GT Class:
-Risi Competizione x 2 (Ferrari F458)
-ESM Racing x 1 (Ferrari F458)
-AIM Autosport x 1 (Ferrari F458)
-Stevenson Motorsports x 2 (Camaro GT.R/Pratt & Miller)
-Autohaus Motorsports x 1 (Camaro GT.R/Pratt & Miller)
Prototype Class:
-SDR/Spirit of Daytona Racing Motorsports (Corvette Prototype/Pratt & Miller) x 1
Audi Sport Audi R8 (APR Motorsports & Oryx Racing)
Just to name a few teams off the top of my head.

No pissing match required. What i should have said is that the Pagid U1204 fits the Stoptech caliper that is used on many of the Stoptech kits...and I know because we have a working relationship with Stoptech as well. As we don't sell the complete brake kits I can only speak to what we have sold that fits their calipers.
In the 2011 Daytona 24 hrs, 37 of the 48 (77%) cars where on Pagid. 9 out of the top 10 in both DP and GT were on Pagid with the other 2 cars using PFC (8th place in DP and 3rd in GT).

Like GMG said, not ever top team is using Pagid at Daytona anymore. Depends on the series too. I know a few top Porsches in the Rolect Grand Am Continental series used Cobalt pads. At Sebring 12hr last year I saw cars with Pagid sticker on car use Performance Fricion pads...saw this right in the hot pits.

Out of curiousity I looked back at the previous Daytona races to see percentage of Pagid usage:
2011 77%
2010 75%
2009 75%
2008 over 2/3...don't have the exact figure
2007 74%
2006 65%
2005 54%
2004 60%

I don't see anything on the Stoptech site that would indicate using their rotors would change what pad the car uses so for a 2010 it's:
http://www.braketechnology.com/brakes/8004.html
same pad but 1mm thinner is:
http://www.braketechnology.com/brakes/2707.html
