Would do decal delete and opt for Paint to Sample. Would do deviated stiching too.

I would first wait for the car to appear, at least at press pics or something like that.

Keep weight down, and please, stop with the cheesy calculated 15 hp increments with each model.

I have a 991 turbo on order with my dealer, thats MY2014. Based on past history, 2015 sounds about right, with Oct 14 deliveries.
Just read R&T, a "normal" 3.8 is quicker and as fast than the RS 4.0, so Im expecting great things from the GT3/RS lines. Ill venture a guess of 500hp for the GT3, with 525 for RS.
No decals, carbon brake delete, nav/radio delete, racing bucket add, active mounts add.

I agree but i think decals unfortunately sell more cars

since the 991 GT3 is non existent at this point i wouldnt day dream on how to order one.....

But, with that being said, light is right.

As true as the 1973RS, time has shown that less is more.

Stay away from full leathers, sport chronos, fancy door sills and axle lifts.

No doubt! I'm hoping (not sure if realistically) that it will have an electrically driven hydraulic pump (like the 997 Cup), instead of the electric motor driven steering of the 991 Carrera.

Would be cool for Porsche to give us a blank canvas...just the legal necessities and let buyer add what they want to the car.

However my GT3 hopes are:
PDK
No Sunroof
GT2 type of buckets that have a lowering adjustment to taylor fit a tall driver like me
Roll bar (rear) option from the factory
less rubber in the suspension or a "track" option for that. Like they did on the 4.0
5 lug wheels option
lightweight carpet no sound deading option
a shock absorber (damper) that is a true track orientated pgk option
Inconel Muffler, less is more simple exhaust system
True LSD that can stand up to the track..PLEASE! Porsche get it right this time!
No headlight washers...there's really no need for them.

- single clutch sequential shifter (599GTO, Scuderia, Aventador, GT3 Cup style)
- aluminum body
- bigger/taller rear carbon wing
- lower/deeper front rubber splitter
- GT3 RS 4.0 wider dive planes
- 9A1 engine with 9,000rpm redline, 4.2L and 525Hp
- 5 lug bolts
- Guards LSD
- 7-speed close ratio transmission, we don't need to save fuel with a GT3, that's what Priuses are for, a tall 7th is crap
- Carbon one piece not reclineable seats, with carbon mounting brackets, and multiple holes for angle adjustment
- bigger brake cooling ducts, and smaller/lighter rotors
- lighter calipers
- 18" wheels, we don't want 19" or 20" wheels in our track day cars !!! if you race on 18" we want 18", if you race on 20" we can handle 20"
- Lightweight carpets, we really don't care about sound insulation, let the fat carpet to the GT3 owners, and force the GT3 RS owners to get the lightweight and no insulation stuff
- rollbar mounting plates with studs. Sell us the non-street-legal rollbar or rollcage with a disclaimer, we would rather pay for this option than cup holders.
- Standard Li-Ion battery
- inconel rear center muffler, and tiny side mufflers
- track oriented brake pads, we don't care about noisy brake pads, alert potential buyers of this feature, and let them buy Carreras or Caymans, or even comfy GT3s
- no headlight washing mechanism, but gives us LED headlights
- single windshield wiper blade
- unique carbon sideview mirror with low air resistance
- carbon mounts for transmission, engine and radiators
- manually adjustable 2-way shocks (think Viper ACR)
- an electric power steering pump behind the front axle, mounted on the floor
- welded and bolted coolant lines
- underbody diffuser
- electric e-brake
- lighter radiators, lighter coolant lines
- PCCC (Porsche carbon ceramic clutch disc), like the 8 years old Carrera GT
- a $300k price tag, so I don't have to see one every other miles in South Florida
- no rubber bushings, reuse the Motorsports monoballs

NJ GT love your list!

Wonder if Porsche reads this stuff...or even cares? I put a lot of thought into my list. These lists come from guys that really enjoy and use the sporting nature of a Porsche.
