Well, you can at least give us the key points.

Nothing like a good aero debate (from which we will probably draw no meaningful conclusions) to start 2012.

HNY!

Default OEM dive plane template...

this is the template I created from a photo of the 4.0 dive planes, short of getting one from the factory, or cutting one form an actual 4.0, this is about as close as it gets ...

you align the bottom edge along the border between the bumper and the front splitter ... the upright should be flush with the wheel arch at the intersection of the bumper/splitter/arch ...

I taped the template to the car then mounted the dove planes and removed the template...

That's definitely more technical than just "eyeballing" it

Yep, from pretty close up photos I derived the measurements ... it was the best I could do without access to a real car to get them from ... I am "pretty" certain that this is accurate to < 5mm of the factory ... but if someone with a car wants to check it, it would be appreciated!

Mail me your template. I'll be with a bunch of baller 4.0's in two weeks

I can match it up to the real car.

They have mini planes too: http://www.sierracomposites.com/SC-A...p/scgt3dpm.htm

Wheel lip spoilers: http://www.sierracomposites.com/SC-A...p/scgtwwls.htm

And a gurney lip for the top of the stock rear spoiler. 1/2 inch x 48 inches and trimmed to fit and held in place with 3m tape.

Seems like an inexpensive way to improve without spending much money and probably looking cool too since the parts are all carbon.

Thoughts? See any issues?
Gee where o' where did you ever come up with these???? Help in place with 3M tape... That I want to see...

What you think I am like CarreraGT going on and on pontificating when I should be postulating or trying overly hard to indulge my grammitcal whits to the point where in essence the true point of the banter has been totally lost by the time you reach the end to the first sentence.....
