Same thrill and just as pretty in garage.

Get the comfy seats if you are not tracking it.

Money no object get pts .2 RS. Most have new sport seats and are also comfy enough.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!

I vote for a .1 RS! I don't know if it counts or not, but that's my opinion

If money is no object, just get an RS. I love my GT3, but since getting it, my actual track days versus expected track days before buying it are way more than expected! If I knew I would track it so much, I probably would have gone for the RS. The RS is a reasonable street driver too. Next time around, I'm doing an RS.

Having an RS in the street is like wearing a racing suit in public unless you are the Stig,

For me .2 RS is just shining in at Tracks only but looks stupid in normal roads

.1 RS looks good in both street and track and does not have Center Wheel Locks

.1 RS all the way.

I happen to have one for sale

That way I can get my hands on an even bigger/better *****. I like those crazy beeyatches that want to f#ck you, your boss and possibly the janitor if he comes in to pick up the trash.

10 GT3.

Happy with my decision. I don't yearn for the RS.

Special bonus for me is that I autocross and the RS is not legal for Super Stock in SCCA solo competition, while the plain jane GT3 is---------and I don't track just autox----so for me GT3 FTW.

I don't know what you are taking about.

Both .1 and .2 RS have decals and big wings. They attract the same attention in public.

Besides, have you heard of decals delete?

And you think a yellow GT3 will not look stupid in normal roads??

Great replies from everybody. I am very thankful to all of you for your great insight and opinion.

Regarding the track time, been there, done that. Eventually I realized that the "dual purpose" car is just like your high school girlfriend. You want to make it work, but it's just not gonna happen.

I already have a dedicated non compromise track car. So whatever car I get, it won't make me track more or less.

In all honesty, my brain says "save the 20 grand, the GT3 is all you need, and then some".

But I'm afraid that if I go that route, down the road, my loyal "Peter" is going to tell me, "You Bloody FOOL, you should've taken the Hot Latina while you could!!!"

Gt3 = a good makers mark on the rocks.

RS= 20+ yo scotch straight up.

If you have to even look at the bar tab you don't need either. If you don't care you will only remember drinking the scotch.

If a daily driver the non RS. Weekend car or track car RS.

Posted while drinking scotch.

decals in .1 RS is elegant but .2 RS is too much and most .2 RS are coming with decals.

.1 RS wing is much smaller than .2 RS and the hangs are with the same color of the car not steel look in .2 RS

Now color Hmmm.... Sun is Yellow so try to change its color.. it is shining

if not agree then see .1RS best colors, Green & Orange, .2RS with gray does not look good at all at least for me

black , white, silver, gray are for luxury cars so more for Panamera.

But who cares, just start the engine go to the track and stretch the car legs

Coming from someone who owns a .1... who has basically been spending time and money to bring it as close as possible to the .1 RS...

Go RS. If you are a Porsche-phile, and you love the cars, and you know the history, and appreciate the pedigree, there is something about having an RS. A GT3 is excellent, and easier to look at, cheaper, etc, but the RS is just that much more special. For a garage queen or track day, the RS is for you.
