I love it Randy, if I would spend the money we would now have identical looking cars!
If I ever paint it will be a mirror image of yours, our interiors already are the same all blacked out..

Look forward to hear the new sound at Winterfest.

Randy has DE down pat!
Car: less is more.
Cheater parts: more is more
Track days: more is more
Beer: more is more

I got my car back Friday, ready to go Winterfest, but I might test it Wednesday evening at PBIR.
Looks like I need to visit Tarrett.com again soon but I am not as brave as you nor have tools or the patience to do it myself.
I did get some stuff for the lower rear arms and Orbit threw in a new Gurney lip, hopefully I will get better rear tire wear like you now.

Why is everyone so quiet about the new engine ???

Randy don't try to do that otherwise I'll post the invoice here on reenlist.

Change your signature, 4.2 on the way.

Randy- You need a wife and some kids as you have too much time and money on your hands! Congrats on the mods, your car is becoming very cuppy.

BTW, better watch out Wednesday night, my Hoosiers are coming to East Lansing.....'nuff said.

randy - the car looks great! Can't wait to see it! I agree on the GT Silver Wheels.

http://www.manthey-motors.de/nextsho...ocid=425&e1=55
4.3l engine kit K510
· increase of capacity to 4.3l (among others crankshaft, pistons, cylinder liners, conrods, cylinder head gasket, sports clutch, catalyst manifold element, titanium pre silencer set, titanium tail pipes, titanium link pipes, Cup fly wheel, specials sparks, MM motronic, carbon air intake, carbon air filter housing, inner bonnet carbon panel)
· precise adjustment on latest MAHA dyno
· fitted only at Meuspath; titanium conrods on request
· TÜV
+ app. 60 hp / + 65 Nm*
MM997-MT-K510RS
40.200,00 fitting incl.
* basis = original car data

So it must be less then 40.200,00Euro to get the engine done, but probably cost similar after shipping it back and forth to Mantey from Orbit. Orbit wants to do one themselves per Manthey spec.
As soon as the 1 USD = 1 EUR (Some say 2012) it will be downright cheap and look for the TRAKCAR conversion 4.3L and all 4.0 suspension.

Living in the North West, wet days are always part of the track season. I prefer not to do them, but when you are at the track, and it is 400 miles away from home, you just suck it up and go out.

When it rains at Sebring, I just stand in the garages and watch cars cross teh start finish and ping pong down the front straight

There mods are some of the best you can do. I used to cord RA1 in the rear in 3-4 days. Now they past 6 days

The car feels more lively, and it is not that bad on teh street also

There is a lot of truth and $$$$ in that statement. Wish my budget was that large. Really like the look now as I couldn't stand the colored lips, mirrors. Looking forward to seeing the new car @ Winterfest.

Killer setup now!

I've got to put my car on the lift this week and see how much I've got to spend at Tarrett this week....

So my painter is one of Orlandos best kept secrets huh, did you have him do the wheels as well ?

What are wheel arch gurney's? Are they those carbon pieces at the front of the wheel arch where the front edge of the tire sticks out?

front tie rod bump adj
rear toe links bump adj
there's special drop link for front of 6gt3 or 7gt3
on your 6, you need split rear lower control arm.
all four arms need monoball pucks
need four monoball thrust arm (the fork looking thing)
four rear dog bone upper ctrl arms.
inboard side of lower control arm needs monoball cartridge
tarrett got them all. i think thats' all you need.
dont forget to add 6 cup car shifter and cable.

i think maybe $6000?
