One more TSB update showed up today.......like Christmas in January.

Up until now I have been running a Sharkwerks track exhaust.....the sound is fantastic.....if you like loud. This summer I want to go north and play at a few sound restriced tracks (AMP is one in Atalnta).

My options were:

Install stock complete exhaust.....I really did not want to do this since so many center Ti pieces have rattled apart......the quality of the center Porsche Ti piece is terrible

Install Sharky center bypass.....not for me. I see no reason to keep the side cans so this was not an option

So with the help of M3EVOBR, we went on a hunt for an exhaust that retained the factory headers / cats, eliminated the side anchors and produced a quiet drone free note.

I deciided on the Akrapovic Sports Cup echaust system. It met all my needs and also has the ability to have the race headers added in the future once warranty os up

The system will be installed on Saturday at AWD Motorsports. We will do a base line dyno with my stock exhaust, then install the sports cup system

Hard facts:
plus 8 HP (at 3.970 rpm)
plus 16 Nm (at 4.060 rpm)
minus 21 kg

honestly I cant see having those side cans either and to me it just makes the most sense to drop the two sides out and keep the center. This may help keep a person from speeding on road below 3K rpm

OK Randy. That. Is. A. Baller. Exhaust.
This goes beyond TSB. Clearly. But than again, it might be no more cheater then the full track exhaust you had before.

I checked and appearantly I have the newer improved handwelded OEM Ti center muffler that I got under warranty from Porsche when I broke the older Ti version that came with the car. See pictures #1 and #2

The CUP car center mufflers were also breaking before and that was solved with better brackets, but instead of going with a full Cup exhaust or a baller exhaust I figure I can just get the cup pieces to get rid of the heavy and cracked side cans, see picture #3, making this a mere TSB update.
BTW, my .1 GT3 exhasut broke in exactly the same place.

Not baller Akrapovic, but should be lighter. I just hope I will like the sound..

AND. Look what else we found in the Orbit shop.........
I hope Juan is satisfied with taking everyone to Defcon 6, even Erik is writing checks now....

No cats, MM headers good for at least 20 HP and the weight reduction. Absolutely nothing wrong with his exhaust. BTW, no cracks just taking cheating to a whole new level.

Erik was hoping it would not be too loud, so I called Erik and told him it's not too loud at idle, but forgot to tell him my ears where bleeding when they revved it. Good thing the old man is half def.

Had a good look today at the orange devil car and noted the double adjustable KW's with custom spring rates and a myriad of other suspension pieces as well.

Very nice Randy, like Christmas indeed.

So make sure that you come back to see us during your northern travels. There's still lots to see.

Is the pumpkin coming to dyno day?

It will too loud and he will remove it

I do not believe akra is better than shark werks track, but it opens up more quiet tracks

And if u guys all get headers, I order bolt on akra headers.....that make power

Peter, did you tell Erik about his broken heat shield ?
He should be glad to have a friend like you, that saw the problem and immediately asked Orbit to replace that. only another 1100 to the bill
