The Cartronic sequential shifter looks trick but still must use the clutch. You'll be tick faster but for approx. 6 grand (new) plus install I'd rather put that toward gearing (mechanical advantage) changes and GT LSD to be quicker.
Or towards suspension upgrades to improve handling/speeds.
My 2 cents (before taxes)

sequential help with missed shift but u will have other prob. get it drive it u will know

if u have to lift to shift there is ZERO benefit in sequential. it will NOT be any faster if u really know how to shift. also fast shifting usually leads to fk ups. wrack jorg, Patrick, wold, Walter they all shift slowly. fast feet slow hands.

And also you can NOT feel the shift therefore, you don't know if you're being gentle or can prevent any damage to the gearbox.

Give the 6K to me, and I'll hire a midget to change your gears.

+1. We have a winner. Eddie also raises a point about feel. If you need a sequential to not miss shifts you need to go back to school and learn.

+1 on more coaching.

Mods don't mean chit if you can't drive them.

Many guys show up at the track all moded up only to get passed by stock cars with better drivers.

Switch it up and bring Miller out with you one weekend, he's worked wonders in my driving. I like mixing it up with coaching, get different opinions from coach to coach, different styles. I'll likely use Chris at some point myself in the near future.

I read the posts by gtgears on the 6speedforum I understand what your saying about the damage its doing. Many mixed reviews about the SQS.

Dont lie I know you missed a shift once or twice in your life.

afew lessons would be a great idea tho, anyone can learn more

Yep when I first started tracking, E46M3, I missed some shifts and later threw a rod which I am sure the missed shifts led to. Now I have a better feel and haven't missed a shift in years.
