Question where to buy these awesome portable lifts?

Saw these portable lifts used for the Porsche Hybrid at recent Leguna Seca ALMS race. Looks like it's some sort of hydralic jack for 4 corners of the car and you can see the four metal holder/spots on the floor. Is this a one off custom jack or does someone actually make them .... $10K a set?

So one would need to jack up the car on the side and slide the 2 jacks underneath the tires and then repeat on the other side, I guess?

Just got to make sure the 4 jacks are going up in synch.. !

Saw something similar on display at either APEX or SEMA, but don't know the source. Sorry.

I've seen a number of race teams use these lifts ... Not sure on source or price.

Found it! Not exactly the Porsche lift shown above but works on the same principle and made by Hoffman - I think it's a US company but the lift is made by German concept lift co. It was deomnstrated at this year's SEMA. It can be used for engine/tranny lift, spring compressor etc. Check it out. I can't find price info ....

I phoned them and they're $1,400 each + shipping. Universal rubber adaptor for chassis lifting is $140 and shipping is around $300.

Thanks Grant. I got the answer machine when I called. I wonder if two is enough to lift a GT3 with chassis lift adapter

Found another similar lift by Ikotec AKA Ikotec 3000 priced at $1899 - why $499 more than minilift 2K? It does not appear to be better or stronger than mini 2K.

I have a feeling both are designed by the same German company but made in China

Hey Mike,

yeah, those lifts are cool........ our shop that works on our fire engines and trucks have commercial ones that do the same deal. they all go up in sync with a push of the button.

can't wait to see that in your garage!!!!!

Not getting those...I need something that picks up the car at the lift points so that I can more easily remove wheels and do brake work.
