Default And so the search resumes again.........

Long story short, seller backed out and decided he wanted to keep the car. Disappointed with the time, emotion, and money invested in the purchase but the seller is reimbursing me for the costs incurred so all it not lost and I appreciate that he is a stand up guy for covering those costs.

My wife is more disappointed than I am as she was flying out with me and we were going to make a several day road trip of it and visit friends along the way. That was NOT a fun conversation to have last night

Please do not ask who the seller is or what car it is as I will NOT say who it is as this is something that is between the seller and myself. He is entitled to his decision and I will respect that.

So...................

The search continues once again. If you have a lead or if you are selling, shoot me a PM as I am ready to buy NOW!

Max budget of high 70's.

Prefer white but open to anything if the complete package is right. Yes, even black would work even though I hate taking care of black paint

I agree. They are special and I don't fault the seller for backing out as I had the same thoughts when I sold my last GT3. His problem was actually getting in the car and going for one last drive.

Happened to me a couple of weeks ago, seller did not want to finalize the deal until he drove to a coffee one final weekend. I should have known then.. Yes they are special and I do not blame him. I feel they are seeing these inflated prices of cars that are not selling and they are second guessing their decision to sell.

Man that kinda blows. Can u tell us at least what color it is? I almost sold mine til Mooty did the stripper therapy on his 6 and driven it once on track. At that point no way I could sell it. Good luck Dell in your search. Mike

Bummer... I understand the emotional disappointment you mentioned... that would be hardest for me.

Best of luck with the renewed search -- it'll come.

I was on the other side this week. An existing customer said that he wanted my GTR, I waited 2 weeks until he sold his car, and he backed off last minute, saying the he misunderstood the price.
**** happens and happens for a reason. So don't worry, you have a better car/deal waiting for you

i took my turbo off the market prior to selling it as i just could not part ways with the car as i felt a real connection to it when driving it up in the twisty roads.

that being said, if i had a pending deal i just would not back out. thats just not a nice thing to do.. but the moral of the story is that these cars are special and not everyone can just part with them everytime a new model comes out.

Ah man. Thought you found a winner. But, I can relate...I hated seeing my RS go and almost backed myself, with permission of the buyer of course. The deals will come.
