Default GMG garage sale - a success

Just wanted to thank the GMG folks - what a great group of guys. They put on a sale this weekend and liquidated a bunch of GT3 parts.

I picked up a carbon hood, dog bones, bump steer links, solid caster blocks, and a set of Michelin PS2s for my car.

For my friends, a 997 cup plexi windshield and some GT3 split control arms. Even my friend's daughter that I've been hitting on got a Stasis exhaust for her A4.

So, if you ever plan on going to their next sale, avoid it all all costs!! It'll be like going grocery shopping on an empty stomach. You will buy a lot of cool parts are ridiculously low prices.

I had to make a stop at walmart for tie downs. My craftsmanship survived the 400 mile drive home.

Of course, GMG's shop is just ridiculous. A playground for Porsche fanatics.

And they also had a R8 V10 turbo project... This car is badass.

And a 4.0 project of their own (what, I thought I was the only one ).

While searching for headers for my own 4.0 project....I came across their 997 center bypass.

Wow. What a work of art.

I'm so convinced by their exhaust fabrication, I'm going to have a set of custom headers built by them for my own 4.0 project.

I think the expression goes: "Who needs enemies when I have friends like you?" LOL I threw that in there to see if people actually read the threads or just look at the pictures.

It's a "street" carbon hood with a really nice finish and thick resin coat. So, it's roughly "half" of stock. Not as light as some of the "race" hoods out there.

I've been waiting for a pic of the green monster. Can't wait to see the finished project.

Probably good that I couldn't go to the garage sale. I'd be the dude on the couch who doesn't want to leave.

"Um, Mike, we're closed now. We've been closed for 3 hours..."
