I know ... I will suffer ...
I wonder if the next GT3 will have automatically sliding doors on either side of the cabin ... and tv monitors for the barney videos in the back of the seatrests ...

I did asked August Achleitner that question in a private conversation. He just responded that it will be a DFI unit but didn't give further details...and I didn't press. We will know soon enough. He did mention that they were expecting the European gt3 version to be out by 2013, so I am guessing MY2014 we will see our first gt3's in the 991 platform and the RS's shortly thereafter. Eduardo

Not sure about the p**n*s blower, but I guarantee more weight, *** warmer, ventilated seats and 150K MSRP. They might delete and make enough stuff optional for BIG $$$ to be able to save a few theorecal pounds, but seeing is believing.

all we need now are the shopping moms to flock to the new car ... and we are done!

i see so many no-idea moms in '11 blown porky peppers these days, with hands on the wheel 5 minutes to 1 stylee.
they selling a lot of these cars to new folk who have no connection to racing. it's 'the' luxury brand right now, and the 991 will reel in many more with it's softly, softly approach......

I want a GT3RS PDK with a minimum of 500-550 HP and 4.0L+ engine in order for me to get on board.

P.S. keep me posted on track days at Nola, it has been under construction forever but I might drive out there for a weekend with the trailer when they are open; about 14 hours or so. Maybe hit some tracks in TX?

Yes, exactly! Curious how much they can get out of the new engines without Turbo's. It must be a big jump to make an impression after the 4.0 torque and reliability. Just PDK (I would not want it) will not be enough.
