Default West LA Shop for GT3 Maint?

Are there any decent shops in either W. LA or Culver City that can do basic maintenance on a 2010 GT3? I have been using Werks II (and LOVE them) but getting the car there with my work schedule is a huge PITA. Need an oil change, brake bleed and swap of coolant to Water Wetter. Have heard the name Auto Talent a few times. No idea if they are any good.

Any info is appreciated.

Hey Chris,

I like Tom at Lucent Motors down the street from Auto Talent.

His shop is on Sepulveda near Olympic.

Sometimes having a shop pick up and bring back your car on a flat bed is so nice.

Thanks guys. I did think about the flat bed solution but after hearing so many horror stories about front lips tearing off, I decided I'll reserve a ride for when the car is totally incapacitated

I mean some shops have their own flatbeds and know exactly how to load a GT3. Some are happy to pick up and deliver to get the business.

Spoke to Tom at Lucent this AM. Seemed very knowledgeable about the car and very straight forward. It was nice not to have to explain why I wanted to swap in Water Wetter for coolant. Having them do oil, brake fluid and coolant swap tomorrow. It will be nice to have more than one shop I can depend on for maintenance. Thanks again for the recommendations.

Chris,

I hope it works out for you. Tom is a really nice guy and knows Porsche's very well. He loves to smoke cigars so that is his downside.

Followup: Had everything done. Car was finished when promised and even washed. No issues post coolant change as the system had been thoroughly "burped". Was very happy overall with the work done and the experience. Thanks for the recommendations.

I probably won't be able to make it this weekend but will be at BW in November.

I hope to do Fontana in November as well.
