I don't think you know how to be nasty. And thanks. We're excited. I'm ready for it even if the wife isn't. Now I just need to finish her bedroom...

Very dedicated father. My wife and I have not done anthing to dress up our kids rooms. We use the excuse that our 2 years old daughter claim our bedroom and sleep with us. When I ask her where is her room she say "here" ... pointing at our master bedroom. I know, I am a push over

Here is our little princess

and my son the future pilot

I didn't really have a choice. Her bedroom had zero insulation in it. I mean none. It was previously a sunroom and when they converted it to an "indoor" room all they really did was add drywall and carpet. Not a bit of insulation in either the walls or the ceiling. And the floor is a concrete slab 6" below grade. It's getting 3" of insulation on all 6 sides.

I can't complain too much as I just got back from a 1000 mile all backroad round trip to Ashland. I call it the "extend loop"

whoa.. u da man.
i only cracked my helmet once.
i fell off a slope can't stop. so i thought if i hit the rock, i'll stop. well, my head hit the rock. and i did stop.....

perhaps that explains why i am the way i have been.....
I tried the biking thing for 6 months, every weekend and an evening or 2 during the week figuring it is good exercise, but in reality it kep my out of the gym with all the open wounds.
I got more scars in those 6 months then in all the 40 years prior and I am still painfully limping from the last fall (And last ride) 10 weeks ago. Not big on pain or limping and I can't afford casts so I gave all the biking stuff away. In 2 weeks 170+MPH at Daytona. Much safer...

Oh yeah ... you need insulation in that room to keep your little one nice and warm

Lar aka 24chromium belong to a cycle club and he knew several people that DIED in the last couple years from getting hit or run over on the street while riding bicycle. I tell my wife at least I am not flying down some stupid hills or ridding 10 speed on street when ever she give me a hard time about track

NICE! Get a 29er. They're faster downhill. Leadville is on my bucket list.....someday.

This was me a few years ago. I've grown a beard and put on a few pounds, mostly because my wife likes adopting random foreign children.....weekly.
