Boris Becker was on Top Gear: The first car he bought was a 959.... He was 19 years old! Yes, he drove it like a 19 year old boy and the car would do 200+.

He is a gangster - love it. I saw this episode on my DVR. Usually don't like celebrity interviews, but this one was the best I've seen because I love the story.

He said that he drove it to Monte Carlo with a friend and did break 200 on the way. Also stating that the F cars of the day HAD NO CHANCE :-)

Reminded me of the good old days, back when i was 15 i had a beutifull E39 M5 Imola red with black chamoix interior and red stiching with a full hartge exhaust system delimited ecu...

For most of us, the E39 M5 era was yesterday - not the "good old days".

I had an 88 hp 1974 Mustang II (Pintang) and it made up for a lack of power with miserable handling. Still was lucky I didn't kill myself.

After watching the Australian Open Men's Finals (still exhausted - just WATCHING!) I recalled as a kiddo seeing (live, not on TV) a green car,
belonging to a men's tennis pro -- with an unusual tag, either of their name (which I think was the case), or a tennis term.

I 'Googled' Ivan Lendl, Bjorn Borg & Boris Becker, but besides reviewing various underwear websites, I came up short.
(Pun not intended, but kind of funny on the re-read!)
