That might be too loud for the tracks around here, but I'm thinking about either the FVD bypass or the europipe sport exhaust. Kind of hard to pick without hearing them live first though.

I have an 11 GT3RS and just trader my F430 for a 599. I don't think they are very similar. I also doubt that the GT3 is faster than an F430 in a straight line. I think they are apples and hand gernades. The Ferrari is finished to a higher level and the asthetics are hughly different. Porsche's are great cars, I have owned one for more than 20 years, but it's not a Ferrari.

I'm dieing to know, and of course you don't have to answer this question...

But what was the Delta on that trade in? If it was paid off I hope they gave you some cash in hand.

The market here in europe is a bit different to what you're used to, Ferraris and Porsches are a lot closer price wise than over there.

You can get an early F430 around here with 20k miles on the clock for $130k, but a new base GT3 is $170k. The base price of the F430 back in 2005 was $220k.

Man I don't know what it is about the 997-2 GT3, but it sure looks great in straight-up red with the gray wheels...

Congrats!

I'd have to disagree (as everyone is entitled to their own opinion) but sorry there is nothing that Ferrari makes that is like my 11'GT3RS in every way. The 458 is close, and probably one of the best cars they have every produced but, I am happy to report that EVO took care of those nasty rumors in 2010. :-)

I'll probably wait until the new 991 anyway. I couldn't justify another Porsche after my GT2, not quite yet.
I would be interesting in more feedback as I was between a F430 (non scuderia, still too expensive for my pocket) and other cars, after driving them, I ended up buying a car that I hated for years, but actually drove really nice a 07 Gallardo.
tks.

Oh boy, just wait til NJ-GT chimes it

Congratulations!

This is true, I forget how much the rest of the world over-pays for cars. I'm grateful that the cost of cars in the US is pretty much the lowest prices in the world. Couldn't imagine paying nought of $200K US for a GT3. That is just crazy talk man.

Off subject but the acronym VAT is just silly. Value Added Tax, really there is no value being added anywhere; except for you get screwed out of more hard earned money...

Sorry back on subject y'all.

Really glad you are enjoying the new P car. I love Ferraris too but I don't think I could ever bring myself to buying one. Especially something new(er) since there is the snooty-nest being flaunted by the manufacturer themselves. I mean just ask Mr Harris about this. Would like a 599 though but I wouldn't want to be associated with that set.

Interesting thread. I am a few days away from trading in my 2011 gt3 for a beautiful 2005 f430 6 speed well optioned red tan car. Time to test the italian waters, i love my gt3 but want to experience ferrari ownership.

I know most here will say that i will be back..
