Just the rears wore out...maybe more in the center than shoulders?

It was the inside edges. His wear is typical for two hard days with at least 4 25 min sessions per day. I could have sworn Nick made it out in an extra session or two on Sunday though bringing the totals higher.

It should also noted that Nick and Ron were experimenting running their tire pressures like they were driving on basketballs and had them inflated to low to mid 40's.... I'm sure that didn't help much either.

easy fix flip the tires on the rims after each event. I had to do this every time on the GT2, or the tires would be gone with no time.

I do it every 2 days. Then again I'm not a driftmaster like you

I wear the inside edges of the fronts a little more than the outside and somewhat the same thing on the rears. low to mid 40's on R888 is why to much psi less you are in a drifting contest. R888 have very stiff side walls and you need to run lower psi...that least that is what I've found and what Toyo recommends.

trust me, I'm already missing my car. I don't know how long I'll be able to be Porscheless. No more drift machine to me... that's really sad.
The RSA will take too long to be back on his feet, and the 991 will only come out next year, and I wouldn't buy it brand new from the dealer, I like my hard earned money better than that.

Why don't you have a GT3RS and be done with it?

I'm more towards a 997 GT2 than a GT3RS, don't get me wrong I know I would love the RS at the track, but the lack of torque kills me, and I really want a double duty car, that I can drive on a off the track.

The GTR would be great answer for me right now, if it would take the track abuse and stay in one piece.
I love the transmission and that thing is stupid fast for my standards. That's why I'm really focused on the new 991. PDK, great interior, great exterior.
I don't think I can justify 130K for the RS right now. I'm in love with the idea of not changing gears

You could also hire a coach and learn to drive through the corners faster

that would be on my plans for sure. I knew that the car was capable... Ian did it, and I was on the right path, after a 2:21.1 on normal temp conditions and first time out on dry surface with the car.

The lack of torque is not on the track, is on the street. Is just boring.

Peter, winterfast is coming ... I'm going for a 2:15
