Default Buying/Selling with Forum Folks

Wanted to mention in the course of buying and selling various stuff that RLer's seem to be a fine bunch. Me and The Greek (Nick) had been working on a deal for a few weeks and it was just straight-up all the way around. Thanks Nick for the great communication and the care packages that arrived today.

Also worked out some quick and clean deals on stuff I was selling (some stuff remains, see the For Sale ads!). Florida folks are hungry for go-fast bits!

Don't want to jinx it but so far everyone seems to be just mighty fine folk to horse trade with. Hope everyone else has similar experiences when the opportunity arises

I agree.

I bought a Sharkwerk's RMB a couple of years ago from a RLer. Not a big financial deal but I was very happy that the transaction was flawless.

With you on that train of thought, Savy!

What is it with south Florida? They all seem to have more money and more fun. Are you all really cocaine cowboys like they want me to believe on TV? I never thought I'd want to leave the correct coast, but I must admit, I really enjoyed my last vacation to South Beach.

+1

It's nice not having to worry about receipt of payment... and just going ahead and shipping stuff. Good clean deals at good prices with items as described.

Pleasure doing business. Again. I have not checked, but there's probably a UPS box waiting for me at the office ;-)

South Florida is just like CA with humidety, no tax and you can take a zero of living expenses. There also seems to be a no questions asked policy for depositing money so I've heard.

And if they do ask, as long as the cellar does not flood, we're OK.

Yep I can say this too.. in 6 years not a single Rennlister has ever done anything wrong in that regard. I feel way safer selling here than ebay or craigslist etc...

Hey Alex, listen, is it ok if I pay you (much) later for the brake rotors, and LWFW+LSD work I am contemplating? I'm good for it you know!

ROFL! Yes actually you very much are. I've always had a soft spot for Scotts (the English owe you a lot!) and of course blue....
