Much lower production #s on 997.1 RS that 997.2 RS. There were 332 RS models brought into the US for 07-08 versus over 500 for the current model. The high production numbers on the 997.2 is also why their resale has fallen so quickly.

the 07 is more rare.
the 2010 is more desirable thanks to last of the line 3.8 and gearing. (unless center locks **** off vintage racer would be buyers 10+ years from now.)
Since you got a 4.0L, the 3.8L can take a hike. 07RS in orange or green is garage candy for next 20+ years.

^ All true. Not to mention the overlap between the 3.8 and 4.0 is just too much. I'd go out on a limb to guess your 4.0 is white too--basically the 3.8 will lose all its USPs once the new steed arrives...

My vote for rare / special and that will hold value is:
1) 996gt3/RS
2) 997 RS 4.0
The first one and the last one - everything else in the middle will just be just another 911 - GT car's yes, but those will be the 2. I use to think the 997.mk1 RS was going to be more special but I think the 3.8 bettered it in every way.

Actually why don't you go with the tri-fecta.. I'll trade you my 1 of 5 Lapis Blue 996 GT3's for your 10RS.
Then you'll have the Ultimate garage... Willing to make that sacrifice for a fellow R-Lister!

Thanks to all. It appears that the Green '07 and Black '11 win the contest. U.S. car #8 is on the boat and should be here the week of the 22nd. I'll take some pics.
My yellow '04 GT3 is my daily driver for the time being. The 4.0 and the '10 do share a lot of overlap, with the '11 clearly ahead.
