Sin I've done the PSDS schools and there masters program. You might be above the Masters Program but it is a well put together program and it might be a great refresher course too. I did the Masters after I went solo and just started instructing. I would have never done this but it was a Christmas gift to me so I went with an open mind. Not only was I reminded of some driving skills but I was refreshed and I also picked up on some teaching skills from the excellent PSDS instructors.

How much track time do you actually get?

It's not like a DE...it's all lead and follow....you go out in a group of 4 or 5 and follow the instructor and then after 2 laps you fall to the back and follow. here is a morning session and after noon session. In between the track you auto cross and do skid pad excercises. It's not ideal for guy like you at your stage of DE's but for someone just starting out or around 1-5 DE's it's really a great way to learn.

I'm not sure what they do for the Masters Plus or Race program.

Doesn't sound so fun with minimal track time I may hire a pro coach instead since I already have the car...

Pro coach in your car is the best. After I get the GTS track ready that is what I'm going to continue to do.

+1, pick one of the Chin events in Nov and Dec, get Porsche driver coach (Chris Hall, etc) and I will share with you both.. We need to polish up for Winterfest and 48hoursatsebring.com

count me in on sharing too...Share with Reter one day and share with me the next day or event. I've had Chris before and he is an excellent coach and unbelievable driver. Also Seth Thomas is extremely good coach/driver too. Those are the 2 guys I'd pick.

Pick one, set it up. Do they know Traqmate?
It does help if it decides not to work and learn to look at at least the basic data..

You choose, I'm in. Let's do it now so I can clear my calender (=start begging wifey) Nov or Dec. Nov preferred:
Nov 5-6 Sebring Raceway First weekend in November for our 2nd Fall Sebring visit. Sat/Sun, 12-Hr Course. Make it happen asap.

If you can't november, I will still do Dec 10-11 Sebring Raceway The final Chin Motorsports track event in 2011. Sat/Sun, 12-Hr Course, I am going anyway, but I rather use that weekend to practice what I learned in Nov.

Or a private track day is even better if you can find it. Must be Sebring for me.

Doesn't the 3 day school actually put someone in your car? I know when I attended the 2 day school it was lead follow but I thought the 3 day was more one on one?

We should definitely get some coaching for sure! I don't know which events I'll be attending but it's mandatory to get some pro coaching

I thought you were happy about your car, what do you want to do to it?

You been under a rock?.....the red car is going away and a black GTS will be here next week. GTS will be getting a RSS roll bar, GT2 Sport Buckets lowered at Auto Quest, rear toe links, GT3 lower control arms with solid bushings, clear bra, Sharkwerks center muffler by-pass, new wheels and tires.

congrats on new GTS.

ps. i would put set of stock gt3 sway bars (not gt2 which are stiffer) too keeping rest of suspension intact, just to be able to adjust car later.

Good idea...I'll see how my funds are after I get all the other stuff done.
