Mini Mancation
So I decided on a Man-Weekend Getaway instead

Sat morning I drove down to PBIR. Never been there before, but it was easy enough to find. Unfortunately I only got couple sessions in due to several major wrecks, torrential rain, and then eventually rear corded tires.
Being always one to make lemonade out of lemons, I decided to go down to coral springs on Sat night after the event and get some rest to meet up with the folks at AWD motorsports on Sunday morning.
Considering it was Sunday, the hospitality was great. They really took good care of me since they knew I was a long way of home. So while visiting their shop, I had a BMC non oiled filter installed, and then my car Evo tuned for 93 octane with a center muffler bypass filter. Only took about an hour and wow, it really woke up the car. Its not night and day, but you can definitely tell the car has more ooomph and the intake makes some great noise. I would like to have dyno'd it but I'm certain there's more pull now. It just feels different. Worth it for sure, especially since I'm keeping the car for a while.
I also picked up some of their torque solutions thrust arm bushings and rear toes links. Really high quality beefy stuff and guaranteed for life. Price is right too.
My wallet was a little lighter afterwards, but well worth it. The guys took good care of me and did a great job on the car. We wrapped up the day with lunch at the sawgrass mall.
Good times and highly recommend their shop as well as their new torque solution links. Solid stuff.
Here's some videos of my bumbling around the track for the first time trying to figure out where the hell to go. Eddie guest stars in this video about halfway through.
The second video is of me and a passenger trying not to submerge my car into one of the 6 inch deep apex puddles. Should have brought a snorkel
The rain was just torrential before we went out. Almost pointless running in these conditions but at least I got to learn the track a bit going slowly.I didn't "love" the track, but I would like to go back some time when it's dry and really see what it's about.
