Converting .1 GT3 to RS
The only thing I am certain of for converting a 997.1 GT3 to a GT3 RS is:
Lightweight fly wheel, carbon wing, wider rear fenders, sound deadenng.
What else makes a 997.1 GT3 to an RS, ie suspension, wheel offset, gear ratio, ect ??

it will cost you less and take less time to sell the .1 and buy a .1 RS ... and when/if you come to sell it you will be selling an RS and not a 3 converted.

Not in the .1 version....
So they adressed people's pissing and moaning in the .2 RS to .2gt3 by changing the ring and pinion to 3.89 in the RS and continuing with the 3.44 in the base gt3 (also changed 6th gear in the RS)

rear suspension geometry was different i think. also thinner glass in rear of the car if US spec. lexan on ROW cars.
agree with Larry. just sell it and buy .1 RS. otherwise, don't mess with the rear fenders. just do the LTW flywheel/clutch and RS pulley. enjoy!

Thanks for the input guys.
Was mostly concerned about performance variances. So the two cars (.1 GT3 vs .1 GT3RS) are identical in drive train & suspension components? Would the wider rear track make a dicernable difference? What about the ecu programing, pasm and the sport or shock settings, same?
Other than cosmetic body panel items ie. rear fenders, wheel offset, interior insignias, wing, sunroof, etc, there isn't much else that makes the two cars different is there?
And regardless of skill level, would the same driver notice a difference in performance if both had lwfw setup?
