the RSR kit is way too much money for the conversion, but man does it ever look the part!

Besides the body work, the damn wheels are too expensive and if you only have stock seats and suspension to show for it then it is just to poser......

that white car in europe looks insane!

Wow! For about $40k on top of my car I can almost get a mkII GT3...

I know it looks stunning but is it worth it?

Going with Getty GT3R bodywork, which essentially gives you the RSR look you could possibly eliminate some pieces (roof, doors, mirrors) to reduce the cost and this doesn't include wheels:

Front Bumper $1799
Front Splitter $359
Rear Bumper $1799
Front Fender with integrated flares carbon $1799
Rear Flares carbon $899
Middle Decklid $359
Wing $3599
Hood $959

Total $11572

Not sure how much labor would be aside from findng a reputable shop to make it all work.

I am in complete and utter awe of some of these cars... Having one of these would be a dream! Docdan, was over 40k for the whole conversion, or just the flares, rims, rubber, and custom bumpers?

By the way thanks a lot everyone whose left some insight. Its much appreciated!

This conversion cost considerably more than $40K.

Great looking conversion.

Man, you could fit a Mini in that air intake!

BTW cost wise when all is said and done upwards of $40K easily...the result one badass ******* car!!
That's what the rs4.0 should have looked like!!

I have all of my receipts.

Cost of Metal Widebody conversion including wheel flares, Gemballa sideskirts, HRE wheels, tires, and custom bumpers was $50,666.53

The total cost to include Gemballa Carbon fiber front hood, CUP rear decklid, suspension, Stoptech STR brakes, cage, Cup intake mod, K40 Calibre, SW bypass, Cargraphics exhaust tips, alcantara GT2 seats, pedals, etc.. is just past the 6 figure mark.

regards,

Dan

Well that's a heck of a lot of mod money for sure. It's your money spend it haowy like....but....you sure did an awesome job. Everything looks complete and like something the factory should have built. Great job!

Also are those Forgeline wheels? What sizes?

Thanks for the compliment. I agree it is a lot of money to spend on mods, but I didn't spend all of it firsthand myself. I bought this car used with 3000 miles on it. The first owner had spent approx. $83K on the widebody conversion before selling it to me. Since then, I have spent approx. $25K by adding cup intake, suspension, SW Bypass, exhaust tips, seats and brakes.

The wheels are HRE Competion 21's front is 18 x 9.5 ET +41 255/40 18 and the rear is 18 x 13 ET +25 335/40 18

Docdan your car is AWESOME! I have seen it on 6speed a long time ago. Be sure to put me on the list of people who want to know when your car is up for sale! Your car was actually one of the reasons that I asked this question. Enjoy her in good health!

The intake is interesting. I wonder if the removal of the vent fan has consequences for a street car.

Did you have the coolant and power steering fittings resealed?
