7.2 GT3 12,000 mile service - Rear ARB Mounts Replacement
Mentioned this in an earlier thread, but I'm just interested to hear from anyone who has had their 7.2GT3 12,000mile service.
It states in the service manual on page 17 (UK service record book)
12,000mile Intermediate maintenance:
"Replace rear-axle anti-roll-bar mounts"
This was news to my OPC.
Anyone else has their first intermediate service and is there record of 'mount' part numbers on their invoice?

Finally Porsche includes them as a maintenance item.
I broke one in my 996 GT3, and I know from various 996 and 997 GT3 that have broken these mounts (the ones attached to the rear subframe)

Electrical equipment, warning and indicator lights: check operation
Tyres: check condition and tyre pressure
Vehicle lighting: check operation
All headlights: check adjustment
Horn: check operation
Replace spark plugs: see Additional maintenance
Battery: check functional state and fluid level
Check the door locks, lid locks and safety hooks of the front lid to ensure that they are secure and functioning properly
Windscreen wiper/washer system, headlight cleaning system: check fluid level and nozzle settings,
check window cleaner or antifreeze, depending on time of year; check wiper blades
Replace rear-axle anti-roll-bar mount

Vehicle underbody and engine compartment: visual inspection for leaks (oils and fluids) and chafing damage (lines and hoses)

But here is Intermediate maintenance after:
20,000, 60,000, 100,000, 140,000 km etc./

Just picked my pork after service and CL recall, after seeing this thread specifically asked them if they've replaced the mounts. Answer was "no, oops, we didn't know we should have".

OK. Car in today for the UK Centre Lock recall (no issues on other checked components so just locks for me).
Asked about the:
"Replace rear-axle anti-roll-bar mount" on page 17 of the UK service book.
I was told that the parts (as clear as day on their Menu Priced Service Menu) were:
977.333.792.95 x 2
997.333.069.05 (minor) x 1
(997.333.069.06 (major) x 1)
997.333.070.06 x 1
I was told that these aren't the bush retainers that I thought they might be, but 2 drop links and 2 bushes!! Well, well, well.
Anyone got a fancy way of showing what the part number look like on a parts catalogue???
The Centre also ordered 4 x retainer cup bolts as these have thread lock on them and I guess they will be wanting to do things right from now on.
Ever the pesimist, I called Porsche Reading (nearest Centre to Porsche GB) and they read out the same numbers.
So. Droplinks now minor and major service consumables?
Discuss.
Those who have said your 'mounts' broken - are you talking bush retainers, droplinks or some other component?
Finally - what do you think the 'minor' and 'major, after the part number relate to? Surely not different components for minor and major service???!! Huh?

The major thing is that the part numbers are correct, the minor thing is that they charged you for a drop link for a 997.1 GT3.
