Default 2007 GT3RS Values?

Can I get some perspectives here on value? Looking at a car with 12,000 miles. Excellent condition. Has been tracked. Major options -- Carrera White paint, Bi-Xenons. Also has European carbon fiber seats, 6 point harness and Tech-Equip rollbar. Seller asking $110,000.

95 to 100. is it a CPO car? Be sure to have a PPI done. Have you looked at the GT3RS registry to see the history of the car? Why is it being sold? those options (seats, harness, cage) might be worth 50% of what they cost the PO to buy new. GLWP!

So for another $25K you'd get a "0" miles car!
Ask me how I know :-) Horstair.
A reasonable thought on a new one. Also, $110k is the ask so probably can do better.

By the way, according to my research, the European carbon fiber/leather seats (that are on this car) at Suncoast are a $14,000 aftemarket option.

The rollbar + harness + installation is what? $3-4K max? plus a premium for the Euro Seats of say $4-5K max, you'd have a total $7-9K premium. I still think the car shouldn't be more than a $100K. Horstair.
PS: Not that I would personally care but I think those Euro seats don't have side airbags built in. Not a problem on the track but if you drive this thing a lot on the street, who knows.
I agree -- I was shocked when I saw the price on those seats. I guess it costs a lot to save weight. How are they different? -- they are made of carbon fiber. It is an option on European RS's, but not allowed to be offered by the manufacturer in the US.

Car will be 95% used as a track car.

Thanks, that's helpful as a comp. I wouldn't buy an orange car, just a personal preference.

What color is your Daytona? I once drove a beautiful Silver one with Red interior (Black contrasting ribs in the seats).

If that RS is in good shape (mechanically and cosmetically) than it is an amazing deal! I say buy it and wrap it in whatever color you like

I love orange RS!

2007RS market has been a small selection this year.
Alot of owners that have them now are most likely second owners not intetested in moving or first owners with high mileage not looking to fire sale thus holding to enjoy for what it is worth.

100k for clean low mile car. Cant see people paying more then that in USA.

Lowest sales i know of to date is 90k.

The orange RS on pelican for 85k is a steal. Just look at options. No wart, no navi, factory cage and mounts, pccb and no bling interior trim crap.
I almost want it as a back up for my RS. .

The white car you see for 110k is 105k with those extras on a good day.
95-100k without extras.

With the extra you can see why the 110k ask.

Trouble is, RS in the color you desire dosnt grow on trees.

This is why the 07 RS maintains a slower depreciation then non wide body GT3 in both 997.1 and 997.2 body.

If you like it, then work a deal based around 110k. It is not far off and dear i say realistic. Those extras are not cheap and are a common addition you may want and need to pay for anyhow.

I smell 106k

The seats are fixed back Carrera GT seats by the way. Not cheap.

Tsracing--thanks for the thoughtful reply. As I have searched around, I have found that there really are very few available -- especially in the white, which (ya gotta love Porsche) was a $4,300 option! As for the seats, yes they are pretty much the Carrera GT seats--my question is how much are they worth to me. They are substantially lighter, and, of course they are very cool. Seller seems willing to throw in the as new original seats as well, although we have not had a full discussion on that.

i spoke to the Pelican Parts Orange car guy a few weeks back before i bought a local white one. nice guy, did not have much to say. Look at the car on the RS Registry for more background, had euro delivery, original owner used it in Europe for a while. i passed on it as it was orange and i had a local white become priced in my 'spend' range. if you can live with orange, it could be a very nice car. Sacramento based if i remember.

So, why can't we get those seats from Porsche in the U.S.? I thought the seats in the new RS were similar.
