Not so sure I have to do anything with the rear spoiler, the Gurney might just be enough.
I will know in October after Daytona. The GT3 with Cup lip and rear wing set max felt like it was going to take off, I had to take rear wing off..
Dont think you should "play" with aero like that Pete, ... you dont want to discover another "ice mode" scenario at the limit due to unbalanced aero ...

just my $0.02!

Not going crazy yet.

I went from stock to max rear wing + Gurney + CUP lip and I could not really tell anything different in the car, but data showed faster. Same track same everything within an hour. I also added the little flaps inside the wheel wells like on CUP cars. Not sure if they do anything, I added them because the help sucking air out of the wheels I think. That helps for brake cooling.

I can't wait to see what they are adding to my car in addition to the 2 2" holes ducting air to brakes without going through radiators.

I will only add more rear if I think the car needs it, front canards just look cool I think, not sure how much they will add.

And the cost couldn't possibly exceed 80.000USD. ? : )
The recently converted 3.8 to 4.0 RSR engine by PNMA was just about $80k, starting with an existing 3.8 RSR engine and all the lovely bits on it.......

Still haven't driven it - - it is going thru a thorough tear down before its in on the track again....

And I still can't get over the size of the front ducting for cooling and downforce......

Im not sure why all you 3.8RS guys dont just go with the 2010 cup wing uprights.

It gives you 15+ adjustments too.

If I had a 3.8RS track car I would do:
4.0 front Canards (placement is VERY important..)
2010 PMNA wing uprights
2010 cup splitter

With the added front downforce you can then run WAY more rear wing and get the back to stick in fast corners and direction changes.

I have a 2010 cup wing on my 997S race car and I have 100 less HP than a 3.8RS, so you cars can handle the extra drag much better.

Aero drag is ok on our cars because we are road racing not drag racing, if you can come out of the corner faster you will still win the drag race!

Default Steering wheel adaptor for 4.0

I wonder if anyone can help....I have an FVD airbag steering wheel recently removed from my .1 RS as I am selling the car to make way for a 4.0. But I believe from FVD that they 'think' the hub adaptor from the 07 car will not fit the 4.0 hub. Does anyone have the new part no. for the 4.0 hub, as I also believe this may be the same as the 3.8 version?
Appreciate any info here....
Thanks.
