When you say keepers, do you mean ones you don't drive? I'm not sure I understand not driving these cars. I don't think they will appreciate in value. So why do it? I understand collecting a Ferrari 250 GTO but not a GT3 RS. these are drivers - no? I do concur with your choice of the best 2 though

If someone on Rennlist wants to man up and buy the car that would be great. otherwise dealing with the general public is a royal PITA, so I am not quite sure what to make of Larry's comment....I certainly don't give a crap if a dealer makes money on my trade-in if I get what I want out of the deal.
no tax breaks on trades in KALIFORNIA.
you pay full tax on your next purchase, no m atter what.

Of course, goes without saying. Satisfaction can be derived in many different ways.

I hope not for the sake of next buyer. Can you imagine the new owner saying "Hmmm. These seats feel a little sticky"

Ha! Agreed.
I, however, hope to purchase (liberate?) one of his "used" stock one day.
I think he enjoys them in his own manner and takes care of them quite well.
To each his own.

Geezzz, you guys are brutally funny. Anyway, thanks for the input. Yeah, I'm a bit eccentric about my cars. I wish I had more money and more room!

I'm not nearly fast enough!! Someone is always faster. haha!
Unfortunately work and travel is keeping me from the track until late July at the earliest. I still want to try RA so I'm more likely to tow the GT3 down there this summer. What about you? What tracks are you terrorizing in the near term?

Oh, and Dertub... as you know its a great bunch of guys on this forum. but most of us are driver oriented so it skews our perspective some. Just keep those beauties of yours clean and low mileage for me when I come calling!!

Dertub, I spoke to Patrick down at HBL and he told me he made a stop by your garage. His exact words were "You would LOVE it" Do you have any pictures of your 3.8 RS? I've been thinking about making the move up to one, just don't know when yet.

Sure, I'll get you some. Pat is a great guy. I'm still not 100% sure I'm selling, but I really appreciate your interest.

Mike.
