Default My first weekend with the GT3 at the track! Some vids...

Unfortunately, a very wet weekend but still fun and I learned a lot about how to drive a GT3, though I have a long way to go. Also met up with a fellow rennlister, who was there for his second day with his .2 GT3.

Alignment, SRF and Pagid RS29 installed but had to run on Michelin PS2 the whole weekend due to the rainy weather. All in all, the car is incredible and much more manageable than I expected in wet conditions that I even experimented with running without SC for a few sessions. What a car! I'm sure the tires helped too

Here's a very wet Saturday session with hardly anyone on track. I felt like I was alone out there:

And here's one of driest sessions on Sunday with few other nice rides braving the foul weather:

These were shot with just a canon s95 point & shoot that I suction-cupped to the inside of the windshield. I really need to invest on a traqmate or racekeeper setup.

That first vid is mad.

I spun off a public road at 40mph in 3rd gear in similar conditions. I was 90 degrees sideways before I could even react.

No traffic and no walls, got lucky.

Hope you are enjoying your ride!!

Lucky to have PS2's -- Sport Cups in standing water would have been tedious at best.
Still looking forward to the Pilot Super Sports for these wet days.

Funnily enough, as much as I envy the drivers with lush green tracks, wet days make all that wet grass a frightening threat of certain consequences if one puts an errant wheel on painted berm, then gets thrown to the boundary fence at full speed.

Are you going to the PCA event at Autobanh as well? Oh and the SW exhaust sounds fantastic at the track!

Sorry about the bad cell ph vid my friend took..

Not sure about the PCA event, but next on my schedule for sure is the 3-day Blackhawk event with the audi club end of June. Your sharky bypass sounded incredible on the front straights by the way, and even that video doesn't do it justice. That's next on my mod list!

what event is June 6? yes the bypass is worth it...esp when you unplug the switch. Dont waste time driving around on stock exhaust...you are missing a lot.

Looks like an MVP tracktime event. Just checked and registration is full. Too bad, would've been nice to do a full track monday.
