As a Nevada resident (legal prostitution) I felt it was my local patriotic duty to spec a red interior in my 2RS I still love it and had other 2RS owners tell me they wish they had spec'ed it. It looks great IRL and not so garish as one might think.

Anyway, I think I will spec A/C afterall in the 4.0 and just pull the compressor and seal the system. Also spec the Audio delete and LW lights.

Having a stripped out 3RS on the track is a great feeling and any driving enthusiast will easily feel 100lbs of weight reduction.

Non-trackers probably should order the bells and whistles. I now have two storage racks full of B&W's that were pulled out of my 3RS

Pete, did you find an allocation?

I will probably spec both A/C and audio, but pull all the components. Hopefully Gert will stock the cubbyhole trim, as I think it looks great and I always appreciate the extra space for my gold chains and diamond earrings.

I'll also spec lightweight headlights and Lion battery (do we still get the original Moll? That would be destined for my now-6-year-old 987). No pccb for me however.

Also, it appears from the configurator that the whorehouse red alcantara headliner is standard, and unavoidable?

congrats berry!
I remember looking at your past white RS -- spec it like that -- what a beauty

AC, stripe delete, steel brakes, leather... done...

What color are you going with?

Yes Sir I did, thank you!

LiON is actually a "deal" when ordered with car as you are looking at $1700 vs $2300 through the parts dept and yes car is delivered with both lead acid and LiON.

Agreed no PCCB this time, I have learned my lesson and I am going to pop on an aftermarket brake kit. The whorehouse liner seriously looks good. If you can see one on a GT2RS go check it out.

The radio hole cubby part number is 987.553.671.00 A05 a bit pricy though ~$180 I keep my tisses in there to dry my eyes when crying about the centerlocks

This is my 3rd pcar with full leather. No problems with any of the fit and finish (knock on wood).
Well probelm solved....you will never steal the keys of my car

White
Silver Wheels (but thinking about Black - opinions welcome)
Radio delete
CF center console
Full leather
LiON battery

Akrapovic Sport Cup exhaust (-42lbs). Losing weight in the rear is a lot more important than losing it in the front.

Love the options. I vote black wheels and Akra.

The black wheels look seriously good. Glad to see others are respecting the heritage and purpose of the car and going with a lightweight spec. Respect to you

Black wheels....a must.....I hate cleaning wheels

Full leather.....why? I really struggle with the option. I had it and now dont, interior looks better without it

If it was real carbon center fine.....it will just turn yellow.....go with nothing or paint it white

As you can see many of us on here have different opinions of what to order. It's your money so do as you wish. Since you asked below are my choices.

Air con: YES (remove it later)
PCCB: YES
LW Lights: YES
Lithium Battery: YES
Radio: NO
Nav: NO
Full Leather: NO
Cup holders: NO
Humidor: NO
Espresso Machine: NO
Anything that adds weight: NO

To each his own. I love the fact that we have choices.
