I just called the dealership and the TSB procedure is as follows:
- remove the center locks and check the part numbers.
- If wrong part number, order new centerlocks and replace the current ones with new ones.

If there is nothing going on how come the dealer in Germany found this info just by running the VIN number of my car through the computer, and how come 2 friends of mine had a phonecall from a Porsche dealership (2 different dealerships from the one I called) telling them they need to come with their car for the center locks? And it is not about the 500 to 600 greasing thing, because my car had this done and so did theirs.

Usually all new TIs are published in the PIWIS in English within hours or days. Since I don't have a reason not to believe you, maybe the German version was published first, or perhaps Porsche has delayed updating this TI in their WW network.

Will keep checking for it. In the meantime if you have the TI number, please post it.

This may be market specific. I was told of a recall on CL this week by the shop foreman at my local dealer. My RS was in for routine service at the time. Th required parts for the recall had not arrived yet. Mine was an early RS, one of the first delivered in Canada in fact.

doubt its market specific since there is no market specific p/n# ...

just as a point of reference I checked my CL bolts on my car which was produced 12/09 they are the .05 p/n

the "replacement" black CLs I got when I swapped to the HRE wheels are .92 p/n which were dated 08/20.

I think its safe to say that if your car was built before 08/10 then you have superceded CL bolts.

But we really need to get a statement about the reason for the part being superceded.

I did and still got nothing. Last relevant TI is for the change in torque.

Perhaps they haven't updated it yet.

Bob your move to get it directly from the dealer. : )

I'm told no need to purchase new ones even though superceded part #. Not warranty claim. Porsche probably just covering themselves because someone probably lost a wheel from improper torque. The bulletin simply restates proper procedure / torque. Different part numbers for GT3 RS as well. Might just be a different color. lol

It is approved to install a GT2 anti-roll bar into a GT3.

"The rear-axle anti-roll bar used on the 911 GT2 can also be fitted on the 911 GT3. For the special requirements associated with driving the vehicle on race circuits, the anti-roll bar used on the 911 GT2 can also be fitted on the 911 GT3 if requested by the customer."
