I am planning to take a road trip with my wife sometime in the summer down to San Fran, CA. Timing is pretty open, but thinking June/July.
Would love to experience some of the better tracks with good organizers and hopefully lots of GT3's.
Anyone recommend a good week with lots of track days from various tracks? Any info would be helpful.

Wifey will like Sears-Infineon as it's close to Sonoma, and Laguna as it's close to Carmel. Both of those are costal and will be cool. T-hill on the other hand, will be hot, muggy, and not close to anything except pasture....

thunderhill is in the middle of nowhere but there is a lot less stuff to hit than the other awesome tracks...

Register (free) at motorsportreg.com then check out your options -- make sure you get to Sears (Infineon) and Laguna Seca. SpeedVentures, TrackMasters, YPTD, CFRA, PCA GGR, PCA Diablo, PCA Redwood -- all tend to have a day here or there. PCA Zone 7.

You could always stop off at Pacific or PIR on the way down. They have Rose Cup at PIR June 17-19. Thunderhill is good but as already stated pretty isolated whereas Infineon is great and there is so much else to do in that area.

I dont know all the rules, but pretty sure your car will NOT pass the noise regulation at Laguna Seca, not sure about the Infineon noise rules. I have heard they dont pass stock and Im sure they dont pass with the sharkys center muffler delete. People have methods of making it work, definitely ask around.
And if your down south more, I love Buttonwillow Raceway.

^ I just wanted him to be prepared. Would suck to plan a trip, drive down, go to track to get kicked off!!!! Talk about disappointing.
