I have had a 996 and 997 turbo and now am thinking about taking the leap into a GT3. I am also considering a TTS, but really interested in the GT3. I am pretty comfortable with where the TTS market is and what I can expect to get off sticker, but have no clue where the GT3 market is. I have found a few nice 2010 used ones close to what I am looking for and the price seems to be between $113-118 depending on miles, options etc. What should I be looking to get off this offered price? Thanks in advance for any input!

Hello Dolt. You seem to be in the right general ballpark for pricing. However, the discount or negotiated price depends on so many factors. Color, options, miles, history and the seller's desire to sell. Take your time. There are cars out there. You will know the car when you find it, and fall in love. Dont settle and make sure it is inspected.

Yes, the used 2010's that I have seen that are the color and options I want all happen to be at dealers. What would be a good expectation of what to get off of that starting asking price from a dealer?

Just bought a '10 with 820 miles on it through a dealer ( they were selling it for a customer of theirs) and had it CPO'ed the cost of which they added to the price from the seller. I think I got a good deal for what was essentially a new car, optioned pretty damned close to how I would have ordered it except for lack of sat radio and nav which obviously wasn't a deal killer.

Data point: 2 months ago I bought a used white 2010 GT3 with 400 miles from a SoCal dealer (not Porsche) with an original MSRP around $139k. I paid $115k which was more than I was hoping for, but it's not often that a local car with the right specs shows up, particularly if you are being picky with the options and colour.
FWIW the dealer said they had paid $117k in trade for the car, but who knows.

Also save a bunch of money on private party taxes if you state has the rule.
