Thanks everyone for all the input. I am still looking for the right car and keeping my options open. I am still toying with the Turbo S option as well. It would be fun to get something different this time around though with a totally different driving experience. Can't go wrong either way though!

I considered the Turbo S -- drive it before you buy it and be sure you're happy with this combination of PDK and turbo engine for your primary driving interests.

For the 2010 GT3, I'd echo the advice to buy privately -- the premium for buying from a dealer at present is far too high for this particular 911.

When you're buying a GT3, try to buy from the original owner and judge the car by the owner -- an insight you can't acquire when buying through a dealer.
