Default GT3 RS 4.0

JUst when you thought you were safe with the 11 RS, it's time to sell off some more stock options and get in line for the next one...

Default 4.0L

But is it worth the approx $75k delta between selling my new .2RS(a great car) and the 4.0? If I only knew before I ordered my car....Seems the best option is to wait to pick one up in the aftermarket or for the next gen car.

I take a stripper 3.8 Rs(fully gutted weld in rollcage etc) over stock 4.O : ) and it'll be cheaper and faster but it won't be street friendly nemore. Mike

Default 4.0

Seems that the 3.8's will be a bit more limited now that Porsche has stopped production and is only building the 4.0L RS.

It is not very limited compared to the 997.1 RS or the 3.8l GT3. 3.8l RS sales for the US have already topped 500 with about anothet 50 to be sold. Total US 3.8l RS production is only going to be about 100 less than total US 3.8l GT3 production.
