Got some data from Izzone. Thanks.

Whoever Chris (Hall or Harris) was in the 997.2 GT3 RS this past weekend, has a minimum speed 5 mph faster than Reter's best lap from January (a 2:19.9 with a TBL of 2:19.1) at T17. Reters kills it everywhere else.

One more thing, Reter brakes sooner for T17 and that costs him 0.2 secs by turn entry. Reter has another 0.5 secs to gain just on T17, plus the unknown gains by exiting T15 5mph faster and reaching T1 sooner (too lazy to calculate).

Potentially, Reter could lap Sebring on low 2:18s on shaved RA-1, that's stupid fast with a bone stock street car.

Amazing! These cars stock and a driver like Peter are so dang quick. So Chris brakes later and carry's more speed through T17 than Peter...that's it? Peter! Also it is Chris Harris the journalist that was at Sebring. Chris Hall races in ALMS.

Yes Peter, 2 dates, the 19th and the 23rd. I know that the 19th is at night, just waiting to confirm the 23rd. The 23rd we will run PBIR counter clock wise.

As soon as I have all the information, I'll make another thread. Would be nice to have you and other rennlisters there.

no, i think chris had more exit speed out of t16, which gives the advantage at 17.
peter had added weight and 4th outta t16 took a while to get up to revs.
it sounded like chris dropped 2 gears in the previous chicane, t14/15 and held 3rd for t16.

I posted a lap on YouTube of your car jenk12m. The audio is all over the place (don't think a GoPro will ever work over those bumps) and I doubt it'll teach anyone any of you guys anything you didn't already know!

Thanks again for letting me drive it. It's a honey.

Just makes me want to head back there and learn the place properly.

Cheers

Thank you for posting
I hope you make it to the SouthEast stateside again soon. Look forward to the article.
Pretty sure we could gather up a gaggle of GT3/RS cars for you to sample and play with during a road car test trip on this side of the water.. Where will the 4.0LE tested / evaluated? ;-)
