Default Savyboy's GT2 RS at Laguna Seca

I drove down to Laguna Seca this morning to see Pete and his fantastic GT2 RS. What a beautiful car! And yes, Pete flies on the track - quite a sight! Here are some photos:

And a few other interesting cars:

458 Challenge car...makes sense with the Challenge events coming up at Sears and Laguna. Any lap times?

Good choice of cars to post:

The GT2 RS was drawing as many oohs and aahs as the 458 Challenge in the next garage.

The 80's 911 was one of the few (few!) cars being driven well in that run group.

The unique cream GT3 was especially unique because all the mirrors were taped over and the driver had both hands zip-tied to the steering wheel.

RS looks right at home on the track. What other street car worth 300k will you ever see driven hard on the track

Nice photos! Will probably regret saying it on this forum, but IMO the air-cooler is the best looking car of the bunch. : )

The F-cars had a superb support crew who was timing but I have no idea what they were running.

Thanks Snowboarder- the car is truly designed for the track. Definitely not a poseurmobile. What better way to spend income? Seriously? Are you going to die tomorrow wishing you put more into a 401k?

Oh man, you never fail to peg the amusement scale! That is funny! Poor Joe, I always find him to be a nice guy and great fun to pit-race with.

When well maintained, the "old" ones are lovely, no doubt.

that's problem with point by group.
i always wait for point bys, 2mm from their rear bumpers.
