expensive marketing fail

If the girls had just left a photo with their phone number on the windscreens, they would have gotten 99% more "test drive" requests within 2 hours, not 23% in 2 weeks..

GT-R is a fine car, but that is moronic marketing.

WOW! Genius. Nissan will leave picture of their behind on other people's computer screen so they know what a sorry *** they are. "GTR.. real sports car ..." FAILED>

Yeah, I'm sure those 911 owners are lusting after a Transformers video game 3,800 pound "sports" car...epic fail.

I'll play devil's advocate here. If the objective is to increase brand awareness they certainly succeeded. Not necessarily in a positive way for everyone, but it'd pique my interest.

Now of course, if they left the girl's number on the windscreen the results would be more positive on an entirely different level...

I don't know about you guys, I can't wait for my 2012 Black Edition to come in. Should be a cool daily driver. Save my P-cars for weekend duty.

I would be pissed if Nissan stuck something on my windscreen like that ... unless it was a naked picture of the girls and their number!

last thing I need to see is the ugly *** of a GT-R ...

Don't let Nissan's latest marketing stunt phase you... The reality is that 2-3 years on, Nissan are trying to stir up talk about their car because it hasn't lived up to it's promises and generated the interest itself! It is forgotten!!! Even the car mags don't seem to want to know...

These days the only convo I hear about the R35 is from teenage boys talking about the one they've tricked up on their PS3... If Nissan want to get noticed, maybe they should give their owners a car that doesn't cost thousands in running costs just to attend a track day with it's overheating trans and high wear and tear....

I think Sabine was being kind at-best........ They were probably lucky she was not pumped full of truth serum to let them know what she really thought about the car.

Her face alone says it all. (Reminds you of when you're taking a test drive for a new car, it sucks, and you just wanna leave w/o telling the salesperson the car just didn't have it)
Possibly they will want Chris Harris to take a drive and offer his opinion! (My heros.........CH and SS....!!)
