That's a striking car. Are the rear fenders/rocker panel same as the regular C2S?

It's nice take on the retro duck tail but I don't like the Prius double hump roof.

I passed by Rector Porsche a couple nights ago, and the car was still there at the front spot inside the showroom.

Default Sport Classic will probably be on display at Porsche Race Car Classic on Oct 16th

For those in other parts of the country that couldn't see this rare Sport Classic in Burlingame, there will be another opportunity to see it in person. We will likely see this particular 'Sport Classic' on display at the 'Porsche Race Car Classic' on Oct 16th at the Quail Lodge, which is part of the magical Rennsport IV week in Monterey/Carmel scheduled for this Fall. Some of you might have seen a recent article on Christophorus (Issue 347/ page 32) that shows Steve Heinrichs, posing with a Sport Classic in Germany. I'll let you connect the dots.

http://www.whitespace.com/clients/PO...tophorus48.pdf

This Sport Classic can't be driven on public roads in the US and it was imported under regulations that limit use to private tracks, concours shows, etc. I believe it's the second car produced in that limited series, the first one being reserved for Porsche (or a Porsche family member).

Hope to see you all at the Porsche Race Car Classic in October!

Saludos, z356 (Carmel)
