Wow, I havent seen 10% yet! Must be a desparate dealer trying to get allocation. That would be a great deal. I have heard from 3-5% is the standard.

3 to 5 is the low hanging fruit ... Sweat them ... These cars are not moving ... Find a car that has been on a lot for a few months

This was my experience on new and used. Sure wish I could have found someone that wanted to move +10% on the car I wanted. I guess I'm just not a good negotiator

+1 same here. I found a car optioned like I wanted, it was built in Nov, and I bought it earlier this month. Maybe it needed to sit longer. This might be a east coast/west coast thing.

On first impression, that car looks very conservative and should have been gone. However, when one looks at the option list - holy $h*t, is there anything on there that wasn't added. Way too high of an MSRP...that's why it's sitting. Nice car for the right person though.

Exactly - that GT3 is optioned well higher than the price for an RS (lots of dealers ordered cars like that at first to milk their customers and ended up with a car nobody would buy).
