I have a radical idea for this problem (being stupid of course...) We tie a piece of fishing line around the inside of our caps and the other end to a spoke on the wheel and presto... We have no further cap losses... lol Who's gonna try it???

Stupid idea No.2:

Measure distances red and yellow and order from a decal shop these precut "rings" using 3M transparent hi-adhesive sticker.
If you order 100 cost will be less than a pair of oem caps..and you can use a new set every time you open them.
No way the caps will break loose with them on.

Group buy?

You lost me with the fishing line...

Wouldn't the patented 911Slow stickers melt? Why have the hole in the middle?
Am I overthinking this?

They won't melt dude!
Hole in middle for not messing with the logo and for easy hand removal. *and weight saving of course : )

Are the cl caps held by clips or by vacuum or both? If clipped can't u just tap a tiny hole to release excess pressure? Mike

They won't melt trust me not even close. I will project an avatar pic on them. : )

Now really, I have a friend with a decals shop I will blackmail him with something to make some and you 'll test them.
If they work we order a thousand. Now go measure and mail me the distances.

I improved the design we will leave a gap on the circle sticker so that the discussed inside air pressure build up won't bulge it.

What the caps need is a pin hole with a breathable membrane, let the air pressure out and keep things from getting in. hmmm... Might be a good after market part.

Or, just drill a very small hole thru the center of the cap so no dirt gets in, but steam/pressure can escape.

my wheels comes on and off 3-4x per track day you know!!!
imagine how many stickers i go through.
they really should use the cup car system. who wants the cap anyways. we put there only to prevent dust, so they say. what about the cup cars.
