This might be doable. I'm going to look at my schedule.

I tend to have somewhat of a lead foot when it comes to the interstate or rural highways. My commute of 130 miles/day has me somewhat jaded when it comes to posted speed limits

Since I'm not setting any new records at Sebring, I might try a set of these out. I always like the PS2's on track, and if these are better....
One of the Michelin product managers at the launch claimed they were as fast as the cups in the dry

Don't forget that the wear rating is up from the cups also

Looks like it is going to be a spectacular street/track combo tire. Everything I've read is give rave reviews. Excellent wear, excellent grip, predictable performance. Sounds like a win-win for the type of driver that isn't tracking at 11/10's and wants to drive on them to and from the track.

I liked the 18" cups. I've never driven on the 19's.

Looks like they won't have a 18" fitment that will work on our cars. Tirerack claims availability after April 1st and a price of $1500 for the set.

Do you think pricing and availability sounds about right?

I'm using R888's right now, but I know I'm not using all the potential of the tire. I still have a lot to learn...

Availability and price are about right, the tyre launches then it may take a few days for it to make it to the distributors but I am sure that Damon can comment on that for TR

I am reliably informed that all launch/2011 available fitments will be shipped on 4/1/11 to dealer network (such as TR) prices as per those advertised by the dealers. (included with Michelin PROMISE warranty)
