For Sale - 997 GT3RS - One Of A Kind
I am selling my 2007 GT3RS. This is a one of a kind car as you can see from the pictures. All of the options on this car are factory. The blue paint and the blue graphics were carefully matched by the factory to the original blue of the 1973 Carrera RS. This is the only one known to exist in this color combination from the factory. The car has never been tracked and always driven very carefully, it even still has the original front splitter. The car has 4,200 miles on it. Comes with a custom factory key pouch that has never been used. Still have the original window sticker. If you want something different, this is it.
Asking $130,000

Was this car ordered using customisation at Porsche exclusive ?
If yes I don't even want to know how much you paid for it..
hi price tag comes from uniqueness but you 'll have to wait for the right buyer for this one.

gotta love the 997.1 RS, but this color will not be an easy sell. I am sure someone will be interested by it, but the price needs to go down for sure. You can buy a CPO GT3 for $75k at the dealer. I'd say this worth $90k. For 100k+ I bet anyone will take a 997.2 RS.

Just to clarify - this car was built entirely by Porsche through their "Special Wishes" department. It took a lot of effort to get them to agree to build it since, as was said above, the company stance on the GT3RS was no customizing.
While I appreciate the comments on the pricing, someone who understands a Porsche "Special Wishes" car and the uniqueness that brings, who understand Porsche history, the heritage of the 1973 Carrera RS and its influence on the GT3RS will understand this car and the asking price. I respectfully disagree with all of you who feel you have to compare this car with a standard GT3RS (if there is such a thing, since they are all great cars) or even comparing it to a GT3. I am not looking to "move" or "unload" this car, I am looking to find a new owner who understands how special this car is.

This is commonly what we have seen in the market place over the years.
High option cars do not bring more money on resale.
If anything the original owner takes a bath on resale and never custom orders again.
What this car can do if market priced as a 4200 mile example (100-110k), is potentially sell a lot faster then a regular optioned 997RS listed for market value.
There maybe a buyer out there who would pay a premium, but it is a needle in a hay stack trying to fish em out nine times out of ten.
997RS used market is by no means on fire as they are not moving. Sometimes it takes special options $$ just to move the car at regular market price. This little beauty could most likely be that car.
Cute car however with a great story! i would be proud to own it.

Options really dont matter, the fact it came from the Special K division still doesnt do anything for the prospective buyer.
If I was in the GT3 market which I have been many times, the price on this one makes me walk away. Quickly
I know about the special wishes program and that wouldnt make me pay that much for the same price. you can order a new one just like that one and have a 4 year newer car that is better than the 07.
You need to be in the 100-110k range. And you will have to wait for the 110K buyer.
A dealer would probably give you about $55k less than your asking price.
The GT3 buyer is probably the most educated buyer in the market, and thats not going to help you
