I would love a chance to drive a 7 GT2. Man - it seems like the ultimate car.
+1 especially if you plan to track it extensively!

Because at those prices - the cars sell themselves without being listed. Word of mouth.

All these are good but you may be able to pull a new 11 C2S PDK for your money.
I have had two GT3s and just blown away by the performance.
The NEW PDK C2S is amazing. As fast as my 997.1 Gt3 and faster than the 996 GT3 and my 993 TT.
If the $10K rebate is still around (secret) you do your deal at the dealer (10% off) then get the rebate.

So for the 80K range you should have the 997.1 GT3, 11 C2S, and go up in $ for GT3 997.2 and more for RS

PDK is cheating

Seriously, I think the dual-clutch automatic is a huge leap forward for the weekend track enthusiast, and a blast to drive. Something to be said about shifting a manual and learning the art of heel/toe though... Call me a purist.

And yes, I'll take my 996GT3 thank you. It is sure ugly, but DRIVING it on the track is far more intoxicating than a 7.1 "3" IMHO...

Lastly - if I found ANY 7.1 GT3s at or under $70K over the last 3 months, I would have purchased it! My addiction sees no bounds, and I spent 3-4 hours per day searching over a 3 month period. Obession is a bitch...

Good luck with your search. It's half the fun.

Oldguy: thx for the tip, I've driven PDK and it just feels like a big improvement from tip. I'm a stick guy at heart. I'm surprised that the PDK c2 feels that quick. As for you Blake there is a 997.1 for sale asking 72K. black on black 30K miles though.... cars.com. I'm actually considering kush07 white GT3 if this 996 gt3 doesn't pan out.
