Exhaust for 997.1 GT3RS- What to do?
I am torn between the RSS X Pipe or Sharkwerks bypass?
Does anyone have Dyno results for either one of these exhausts, and understand there will be little to no gains in HP.
I like the sound of both systems, but would like opinions from anyone who has either one of these bypass systems.
Thank you for your input.

There is GMG too
I have sharkwerks, love the sound. No performance gains I can tell (from teh butt dyno)
With the valves unplugged it makes the car sound mean

+1 on the sharkey. There may be a slight loss of low-end torque with all these bypass setups but whatever it is it's minimal and worth the aural pleasure...

Both RSS and Sharkwerks are great solutions.
The RSS setup has fixed tips - they are slightly larger and will be black.
the Sharkwerks Bypass allows for larger multi material/multi colored tip options. Black, silver, Ti etc.
Alex also will ceramic coat the sharkwerks bypass if you desire - I had this option and the price was right! I also got the black tips

the selection of pipes all do the same thing so no wrong choice.
Sharkwerks however allow you to retain stock tips and upgrade to larger tips anytime if desired which looks 10x better IMHO.

Beware the sharkwerks tips though. As much as I love Alex's work with their bypass and engine wizardry, my experience with two different sets have been horrible (one stainless, another Ti blue-flamed). The stainless tips rusted completely within 3 months (not just spots but serious, junkyard-heap rust) and the spendier Ti ones went from the original Ti-blue to a discolored, golden-silvery tone again within 3 months.
That won't stop me from buying their many other fabulous products though. Tips just aren't their forte, I've learned.

I find that the black paints under hard use hold up over time.
My FFR cobra has flat black side pipes for the same reason. easy to touch up.
My corvette had chrome side pipes and the dead bugs and leg burn would show up everywhere along with discolorization.

There was a point in time where RSS was manufacturing the mild steel tips, a short while back we began making our own stainless steel tips to replace these. I can send you a set of the stainless tips with the hot coating, we have seen zero rust problems or fading/coat peeling etc with this new version.
In terms of the titanium tips, unfortunately that is what titanium does -- the color will change (even the factory tips will turn this golden color). The heat determines the color and it may turn goldish brown over time.

I am nervous to use any Ti on the exhaust
I heard Trakacars when it failed.....it was rattling like crazy (I believe he has switched to Sharky)
I have sharky "raw" stainless tips......no issues
Europipe has always interested me.......
