Default Ordered (possibly the last) 2011 RS!

Finally tracked down an allocation, which could be the last build in the US. Had my heart set on blue/gold, and there are very few blue/gold in the country with options that I like (no PCCB, etc). I didn't want to pay $12-15k for options I have no use for. Here are the specs.

I am selling my 09 Turbo street car and 03 Turbo track car, and rolling them into one with this car. That's why I'm going for the features I love in the 09 (full leather, deviated stitching, PCM, some interior fancy bits) which normally wouldn't make it into a track car.

Blue/Gold, iron rotors, red stitching. Scheduled to be built in mid February.

I'll definitely be hitting the Ring in the next year or two, that trip is something I have been desiring for a long time. Some Ring time, and then a visit to the Porsche and Audi factories and maybe driving an R8/RS 6 down into Switzerland for scenic twisties...

They think that Germany will defrost around mid June this year so no worries, ring would be closed!

Gongrats on the car and for keeping it low optioned! If I may ask why the red stitching I haven't seen an interior with it on a 2RS, u had red on the T?
car is blue with gold belts are yellow? sterring wheel has the yellow band for sure, door pulls are yellow? only brakes are red..

The calipers are red, seat belts are red by default, and door pulls are red by default (not possible to change). While I love blue cars with yellow stitching, I would only go that route if I had PCCB. Since the car already had some red flourishes in the belts and pulls, I figured red stitching would be best. Not to mention I use red Schroth harnesses. I hope it doesn't clash with the blue/gold exterior, but I don't think it will... My white Turbo has white stitching so of course that matches perfectly

My thoughts were blue car with red stitching or white car with yellow stitching if I was forced to get a car on the lot with PCCB (one in Newport Beach has PCCB, yellow stitching and belts, very stylish...)

Here is blue/gold with red harnesses, I think it works well! Funny that we spend so much time dissecting the intricacies of matching colors on a car like this... totally irrelevant when hitting the track, but this is what I love about Porsche - the individualization opportunities!

ok I see red belts and loops if you see that it is an overkill you can always remove the exterior stickers.
So you ll have one less color to "match".

Sounds like a flashy track weapon there, Nash. Congrats.

Call me ignorant, but don't the door pulls come with red stitching already?

"26391 Stitchng Door Pull Handles Dev 550.00"

Wouldn't that be $550 for a change from red to red?
