Default Pirelli's

Time to replace the tires on my 2008 GT3. I want to stay with Pirelli's but with the Corsa systems tites generally no longer avaiable I am looking for suggestions for Pirelli replacements. BTW, I have been able to get about 7500 miles out the originals...pretty good zi think for thr way I drive and autocross it. Suggestions please. In advance, Thanks.

What about daily driving, ie rain etc? Are they ok for driving around town and long trips etc just like the corsas? Or just for for track?

Super Sport, which is a street tire, not competition.

Beware the Trofeos. Whatever treadwear rating they claim, the actual wear rate is horrific. If you plan on tracking with them, expect to mount a new set of rubber every other event. Obviously your mileage may vary (literally) but I've seen this happen to half a dozen guys at the tracks here. Common points in their stories: brand new set of Trofeos, two days and 10-15 sessions later they're left with barely enough tread to make their way home. No kidding. The prevailing sentiment here is that if you plan to track with Trofeos you'd better be prepared with a set of spares in the paddock...

The hot temps here (80-90 degs ambient) certainly ain't helping, but none of these guys had problems with MPSCs/Corsas/R888s before.

They pass on less noise on the road than the corsa's ...
I havent tried them in the rain , but on the road and track they are superior to the corsas

I've been running them for 2 track events , each event with more than 20 laps on a 5.5 km course..
and i've been using them on the road also , from the looks of them they still have 2-3 track events left..

The Trofeos are very sensitive with tire pressure , They work best at around 32-33 psi hot on my GT2 , when i was running 30 psi hot it caused uneven wear on the fronts..

They are also scary slippery if the exceed 3 psi hot within there working range..
