They are pretty, and surprisingly light weight.

:
I am pretty sure that the N1 designated 325/30 are the ones specifically for the GT2RS
The N2 version is the successor to the N0 version for the regular GT2.

Of course I may be wrong (or rather Porsche's info may be ) - interesting that it states a 3mm spacer should be used with N2 325/30 not the 5mm one which is for the N0 325/30 !

Checkout page 10 in the tyre slector below listing N0 and N2 for regular GT2

http://www.porsche.com/filestore.asp...letype=default

Also they state:

Only tyres of the same make and type, with the same
speed index and the same specification code (N0,
N1, N2 ...) may be used on a vehicle.

So it makes sense that the GT2RS wears N1s all round (not a mix of N1/N2) - this is what I understood, and I'm sure what I read elsewhere.

The rear on the GT2RS is a N2 and the front N1, just saw one f/s at our local dealer on friday.

The deal was trade in my 09 GT2 plus throw in a used 10RS and I could go home with the GT2RS

Good point to bring this up but N2 is correct for RS rears. And it is the first Porsche to spec mixed N ratings. N1 front and N2 rear is correct. Damon at Tirerack and me had a good conversation about this.

Good to see that you are able to laugh about it

So what is the asking price in Canadian dollars?

Thanks guys..... so the official Porsche listing page 10 below saying N2 for front and rear for regular GT2 means what ? Which tyre is the front N2 supposed to be matched with if not an N2 rear ? bloody confusing

Previous list $307k now it's $270k my reply great reduction due to CAD, ask again what's the price..oh it $279,999.00

You could say it's got next to zero options, compared to my car inside it's very spartan.

Do you think that a regular GT2 could use the GT2RS computer? and how does it make 620HP with 600cell cats?

There appears to be a radius in the body around the rear wheel arch. Is that just the photo blur?

That white's a killer... methinks it better highlights the body's contours...
