Sorry if boring you guys. It's not everyones cup of tea but it's customised for me and has every track I have completed around the base and lots of Porsche badges etc, etc.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about...jealous of your track list for sure, nice work hittin' all those!

Looks nice...never tried on a HJC before...are they good helmets?
I have a Bell right now but the padding is not removable and even though I try to keep the inside as dry as possible, wipe it out and Lysol it after each day...it is getting worn out and smells sometimes.
I want to get a helmet with durable, removable washable liner and pads.

Maybe I do need a Christmas present after all..
Arai GPW, those are not too bad priced, I think I have seen $700.00 or so. Shock doctor..OK, makes sence.
Buttons123.. thats freaking beautiful!
You designed it? It must cost a fortune to get a paint job like that.

I'm happy with it. I definitely suggest trying on any helmet first before buying it.

It was expensive.
I also had a display case made for it when it's not in proper use, so at least I get a little more pleasure from it!

I've been very nice this year, maybe it will help :-)

Why are car helmets so much more expensive than motorcycle helmets? I see no reason for this other than marketing. Check Arai, their most expensive car helmet is like 8 times the price of their most expensive motorcycle helmet.

^the car is 8x as expensive as a motorcycle- lol. Jk- don't know why other then a different certification process and nomex(nomex must be as expensive as gold). Mike

Part of it is the fireproofing that I believe car helmets have over bikes, I also suspect that some of the additional certification might play a role also

Former Vendor
Motorcycle helmets (M - rated) are built differently and are certified to a different set of criteria because of the different types of impacts that they are designed to absorb. That and the additional requirement of being fire proof for the special application (SA - rated) auto racing helmets.
