The Riviera Blue RS at Porsche of Hickory is listed as used with 53 miles. I wonder if it is the same one that was talked about on this forum before. That one was sold by Champion in Florida and was reported by a member here having been sold to his friend in North Carolina (he posted a photo arriving at the mansion!). Walter's Porsche in Riverside recently had a PTS Riviera RS in stock. The Baron has his in Maryland and another forum member from Southern California was expecting to receive his PTS Riviera soon. Any others out there? z356

Default It's Mexico Blue

Jamie: You are correct. I think it's 'Mexico Blue' and the same car member Bruce R posted here that was bought by his friend in NC. z356

Here is one of my old posts a while back:"Re: Larry Cable's 'if only that mex blue RS @ Champion wasn't $170k ...'. Well, Larry, I think it's too late. Elvis has left the building! See Bruce R's post with photo. 'My mate has just taken delivery of this Mexico GT3 RS here in NC. The decals, wheels, wing tips and mirrors in black cost a bunch, in addition to the PtS, but it looks great - duh!'.

Personally, I think it was specially ordered by the NC guy all along and never really 'available' to the general public. At least that was the impression I got when that particular Mexico Blue RS was discussed first time around at the forum. But Champion put it on their website probably just to show off and get some internet web traffic going. z356"

My mate has just taken delivery of this in Greensboro. (not sure what Ferrari calls PtS but he built this Italia to look like a 599 GTO)

As for the PtS RS he did order that through Champion, however no word on if or when he'll sell his PtS RS, or if that is the same car he has now traded in.
