Remove and tie back your brake pad wear sensors (I have already did this)

Remove the caliper using a 10 mm Allen wrench socket

Install the caliper mounting bracket supplied by Stop Tech using the supplied 25mm bolts with 10mm allen socket. Put Loctite on bolts and torque to 55 lbs

I took some pictures of the top load pads....

I really dislike the stock pad load design. With Stop Tech you just remove the four 5mm allen screws slide the pads in and replace the screws (hand tignten)

Now slide the caplier onto the studs, torque the 12mm bolts to 40 lbs

Slide pads in

Install the bridge and reinstall all four bolts

I can tell you future pad changes are going to be simple

I decided to intall all calipers / rotors then mess with the brake lines......

Remove the inboards 11mm brake line and install the supplied cap....this part is the hardest step so far. It was a PITA to get the 11mm flare wrench in there for removal

I did not take any pictures of the removal of the rear calipers (since we all have done it to do a pad change PITA).

But for sake of a DIY....

Detach ABS sensor wire

Remove pad wear sensors and tie back (if not done already). Kind of funny the Stop Tech kit comes with rear pad wear sensors, but not front.

remove the two 10mm bolts that attach the caliper

Slide caliper off

Remove rotor (same as before)

Some pictures of the new parking brake hub vs old.....the stop tech rear rotors are noticably bigger than the stock PCCB

Also a pisture of the parking brake assembly, adjust if necessary

Here are the rear calipers, Stop Tech vs Porsche OEM

Quite a size difference

My favorite part is the top load pad design...

You will still need to remove the caliper to change rotors.......I plan on getting studs installed eventually

There is a spacre that has to be installed between the caliper and car..DO NOT install as I took a picture it is upside down

Go wash the rear rotor with soap and water

Install rotor over parking brake assembly

Install spacer and screws

Pads are held in by two 5mm allen screws (top load ) Remove bridege

Bold caliper to the car (NO LOCTITE per Stop Tech).....55 lbs torque

Rear Finished

Before and After

I am super excited to drive the car with this set up.....if anyone with PCCB is considering switching to steel...take a look at this kit over a steel rotor only replacement. The cost is not much more and the cost of your consumables (pads / rotors) goes down. Obviously I have not driven the car yet, but the quality / fit / finish / supplied instructions are top notch

I am not sure when I will install brake lines; maybe a day or so

Will post pics when I do......off to watch football GO SPARTANS!!!!!

Great job Izzone! Doesn't this make you feel great ... DIY and doing a great post after? I have a cheap digital camera just for DIY - no worry if it gets dirty. I expect more DIY post from you in the near future

One question. What are the price of the pads - endless pads. Did the rear pads stick out or too wide for the rear rotor as shown below?

Decided to connect the lines.....I will flush tomorrow.....

For the front you have to remove a bracket and install a clamp to route the brake line.....it is tricky with 18" wheel to route it not to touch

Calipers fit with CCW 18".....close
